V. S. Naipaul and John Steinbeck never found writing easy. Naipaul was set to become an author at an early age. Whether Steinbeck had the similar ambition as a schoolboy, I can’t say. They might’ve been naturals, presumably. Both authors, however, received the Nobel Prize for Literature.
